Good news and bad news all around
A lot of ups and downs this past week...let's share! =)
Good News:
- Today is my final day of exams, after that I'm free!
- Planning a lot of fun activities over summer with friends
- I got accepted into the BFA program
- I'm reading a good book called The Host
- I'm halfway through my college career, whoo!
- I PASSED ACCOUNTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- It's Survivor night...need I say more??
Bad News:
- Most importantly, my computer decided to stop working yesterday...I figured out it's the video card and should be easy to replace.
- Because of that, I have no direct form of entertainment..
- Also, I have to write this blog entry and do other computer related things on public computers..
- ALSO, what am I going to end up doing at work on Saturday since all I do is play on my computer!?!?!?
- I got a bad sore throat on Friday and it turned into me losing part of my voice. All I got to say is what the heck was I doing to lose my voice?? It's better now, so put that under good news.
- There are a lot of house repairs gonig on back at home that I have to look foreward to listening (not!)
- Brian and Grace broke up this week and I've been trying to handle that...ugh, TOO much with that to go into detail on here!
So as you can see I am very affected by my laptop not working. I've never had any problems with it in the two years I've had it. I can now see how much I really "depend" on a computer in my daily life, which is kind of sad. And not only for school work, but for entertainment too! I need a hobby. lol. So I will probably be reading a lot in my free time, and I have no idea what I'm going to do for 7 hours on Saturday when I work, because I'll I do is sit there and mess around on my computer!
Oh, and notice the caps for passing accounting, I was very proud of myself on that one. I've never studied so much for a class in my life, haha. And don't tell me that class was easy, because it was hard to me!!!
I probably won't blog until after I get home, which is Sunday. I know for sure I am going to spend the night over at Elly's from Monday to Tuesday. First, because I wanted to. Second, because I found out that our house is "sinking" lol, and there are going to be construction workers there all day on Tuesday trying to fix it and they want everyone out of the house. Great...but fun, cause I get to be with ELLY! =) (and probably Gustavo, hehe).
I got my orientation rescheduled for Aerie on Wednesday. I'm actually really excited for this job! Afterwards, I'm going to do some shopping considering I have no clothes from there...hmm, maybe, right? Haha. I'm also really looking foreward to my internship, which I probably won't start until the following week.
So am I a junior in college now that I'm done with exams? It seems to early to say that!!!
