• Goodness, it's been awhile!

  Things have been high speed most days over here. But there are some days filled with nothingness, like today. Recent activities have included looking for a new job and starting my internship at Skylight Opera Theatre. I like my job at Aerie, but they're not giving me any hours. I've only been in there maybe two days in almost three weeks and if you know my situations money is crucial this summer. Gustavo also decided to look for other employment and found a job at Foran Spice Company, full time, 1st shift making $11.50 an hour. I was so proud of him! I also decided to try my luck there and got hired full time, 2nd shift, making $10 an hour. Prrrraise GOD! I am so relieved to have a good paying job for the summer (and also winter break!). The only downsides are; I won't be able to see Gustavo during the week since we work different shifts, I will smell like a spice rack everyday, and yes, it's factory work, so it's not the most glamorous job, but I COULD wear some glamorous clothes with the money I make! A plus side is that my weekends are free, no work. So I will still be able to spend time with my friends and boyfriend and go to church.

  Speaking of church, I joined the choir! I'm so happy I did too, and I kick myself for not joining eariler! I think for some reason I thought there were going to be people that have been in the choir for 10 years all giving the stink eye to the new member, but it's nothing like that, it's church, they're nice people! I had no idea what I was thinking lol. I'm singing in the "Celebrate Freedom" presentation this last Sunday to honor America. I've been to it the last two years and I feel honored that I can now participate in it! Whenever I sing praise music I can always feel the Holy Spirit working in me, I love it!

  Tomorrow morning is my orientation for my new job....and tomorrow afternoon I go work for Aerie..yeah...I think I'm going to tell them that I have to leave. I feel bad because I like the job and I've been there not even a month, but I feel they can give those 5 hours a week to another girl who has Aerie as her only income.

  Don't know when I'll post again. But I realized I need new pictures on here..too much tying = bored readers. I don't know about you, but I love looking at pictures while I read.

  MY LAPTOP GOT FIXED! Someone from Dell came over and fixed it the DAY the Sims 3 came out. I was able to install it on my laptop that day and play! That made my day! I love that game! =)
